ISTOBAL has received the ‘Leading Company’ award given by Economía 3, the economics magazine, for its contribution to economic and social growth in the Region of Valencia.

The award comes to acknowledge the Valencian company's potential for growth and its ability to generate added value, employment, innovation and an international presence.

With 8 subsidiaries in Europe and 2 in the US and Brazil, ISTOBAL has become consolidated as a leader in Spain's car wash industry and as one of the major players in Europe. The company currently exports its products to more than 75 countries thanks to a large network of distributors worldwide. Foreign sales account for 80% of the group’s turnover.

The focus on innovation and excellence has positioned the company as a pioneer in developing sustainable, value-added technologies that bring out effectiveness, safety, quality and savings to the sector, as well as relevant environmental advantages and an enjoyable user experience.

Set up in 1950, the group has more than 800 employees. In 2016, its consolidated turnover amounted to 124 million Euros. This figure is expected to be surpassed once the 2017 accounts are closed, which will mean sustained economic growth for the last years.

The Economía 3 award ceremony for 2017 was held last night at the Valencia Palace Hotel. It was presided over by the President of the Regional Government, Mr. Ximo Puig. The audience included institutional, political, professional and business representatives.
